My favorite local radio station is Isle of Wight Radio who are based in the County Town of Newport, there are worth a listen to if you ever visit the Island, as their reports and local information are second to none. IOW Radio

I am a mother of two daughters who both attend St. Mary's School, Ryde..

I am a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church Ryde, where I run the Sunday school and am a Youth group leader for the Churches Junior Youth Group. I also help behind the scenes with preparation for 1st Communion and Confirmation classes.

I believe in the protection of our environment, and therefore the reusing of as many items as possible, and using renewable resources. I make many of my home cleaning products. I also make many of my own beauty products - this part of my crafting comes from the HND qualifications I gained in Medical Aromatherapy.

I was brought up crafting by my mother, who taught me to paint and sew from the age of five.

Since my daughters where born I have taken up crafting as a form of relaxation, and have expanded my skills. I am self-taught in all of the crafts that are shown on this site, and I encourage my daughters to get involved as well.

I make most of my crafts as gifts for friends and family, but have been asked to do commissions for friends who have required specific items.
I have been Free painting glass wear for about 5 years, making my own cards for 10 years, Angel crafts for 7 years, Polymer clay for 3 years, Soap making for 2 years, Recycled crafting for as long as I can remember!

I was inspired to design this site when I joined a Frugal Living site in America, and started posting my favorite methods for soap and body products, and crafting ideas. This site is well worth a look, not only do you find alsorts of tips on Frugality, but a chat room, games room, Forums that cover nearly everything under the sun, and we are international, if you decide to join please say that you came to this site via my web site and mention the name Yourevenmeanermum that is my Frugal Friends @ Fractured.Net nick name.
